Dear Valued Customer,

     As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was declared a Global Health Emergency and both governments and townships grapple with containment and spread of the virus, we too have assessed potential risks to our staff and our services. We would like to assure you that TNT Pest Control Services takes very seriously both the health of its employees and the reliability, quality, and timeliness of its services as a critical element necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences and businesses. We have assessed all potential risks to any possible disruption to these services and have taken steps to mitigate them as they may arise. 

COVID-19 DECLERATION OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY, EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-004

NEW MEXICO PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY ORDER MARCH 23, 2020


     On March 19, 2020, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security declared exterminators as essential critical infrastructure workforce as we provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences and businesses.

      TNT Pest Control Services is deemed an “essential business” as referenced in NM Public Health Order March 23, 2020; Section 3, Subsection i, where the order specifies essential businesses as “Services necessary to maintain the safety and sanitation of residences or essential businesses”. 

TNT’s Response To COVID-19
      All of our employees have been instructed to closely follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for protecting themselves and others. These recommendations include limiting exposure to sick individuals, frequent and thorough hand washing, knowing the signs and symptoms of COVID-19, and more. The examples below are some of the ways we are ensuring safety of our customers.

As always, we have personal protective equipment available to all TNT Pest Control Technicians
  • hand sanitizer 
  • single use gloves
  • respirators
  • single use boot covers
  • safety glasses
  • face masks
  • waterless hand washing products
We disinfect all of our equipment, common work surfaces, and trucks daily.

Any employee who exhibits respiratory illness or flu-like symptoms, or who has a member of their household exhibiting these symptoms, will be prohibited from working.

All social activities, including meetings or gatherings, events, and travel, have been cancelled and are being conducted digitally.


Services Conducted During Covid-19 Outbreak


For Residential & Commercial Services

 As usual our goal is eliminating all pest problems from inside your home and utilize pest management techniques exclusive to the exterior of your home. 

 If you are not experiencing any pest issues in your home 
o We will limit treatment to the exterior of your home while also adding an additional in a long residual granule to the exterior perimeter of your home on top of your standard service in conjunction with the normal bait granule. 
• If you are experiencing pest issues in your home or just would like the interiors serviced
o Our technicians will use proper PPE including new gloves, a face mask and disposable shoe covers when entering and servicing your home.
o Additionally, we will complete exterior services as listed above.

While together we all strive to bear the burden of this public health crisis together, we feel it is import to reinforce our dedication to safety, the health and well-being of our customers and their properties.
